1) Before dawn (my wife was pregnant at this stage)

My wife was just pregnant at this time.
This photo was taken at the time of Loikratoon festival
in front of the pond of our village.
It was rather cool at this time of the year.

2) Birth of Kai chan

Photo taken at the birthday of Kai chan.
My wife gave a birth at Srinakarind Hospital in Khonkaen,
  Thailand.
Date of birth: 2003/07/12 at 11:33 hours.
  Weight: 3540 gram.

We lost our elder daughter "Makua chan" before,
so we were very careful to choose an appropriate hospital,
consequently big and well equipped hospital.

We were very happy to have Kai chan safely.

  Happy!!

Incidentally I was in the same room when my wife started to
give birth. It was very difficult birth.
I helped to push the back of my wife as she felt acute pain
  on her back.
Then suddenly she started to give birth and I called
  the doctor very aloud.
As soon as the doctor and nurses came to the bed,
water of birth came out so we have no time to shift
the room for giving a birth.
Head of the baby is difficult to come out so the doctor
grabs the head of the baby and tried to pull out.
I am on the verge of tears.
When Kai chan came out safely, I was deeply moved and
    tears came out from eyes.

3) Kai chan 1 month_visit temple for thanking to the God

We took our newborn baby to a temple of our village.
We wanted to thank to the God for giving Kai chan safely.
If we were in Japan, we took our baby to a shrine.
There are no shrines in Thailand but we can take our baby
  to a temple.

4) Kai chan 3 months

Photo taken at the age of 3 moths.
She was kind of fatty at that time.
As hair of Kai chan was so thin that I was worried about it.

6) Kai chan as of September 2006

Photo taken on 2006/09/22.
She came to be 3 years old on 12th July 2006.
Furniture for dining has been renewed into an
  appropriate size of Kai chan.
I only wish that Kai chan grows healthy and happy.

Makua chan who died five years ago is looking at me
from the top of my desk, living with me.
When I think about Makua chan, I choked myself
  by the sorrw and sadness.

Kai chan, it is not necessary for you to grow faster,
please keep yourself as you are at the moment.

7) Beauty of my stepdaughter

  I have two stepdaughters.
They are 10 years old and 15 years old respectively.
This photo shows the younger stepdaughter.
When I visited this village, her height is just
    half of this photo.
I hadn't expected my stepdaughter becoming
    to be very beartiful.

8) Scenic beauty of Rayong

At the beginning stage, we used to visit only Pattaya.
But one day I realized that the sea was already contaminated
  and dirty for swimming.
Then we shifted our place to Jomtian beach located
north of Pattaya but Jomtian beach also was
in the same fate of the sea that seems to be dirty
although a little bit better than Pattaya.
We shifted our resort again to Rayong at the end of last year.
The sea here is very clean. Quality of seawater is just like
those in the famous Samet Island.
Since the last half of 2005, we used to visit beach in Rayong.
I managed to get telephon line from a telephone company
in Khonkaen. I can play on web sites of Internet at my house
in Khonkaen. I stay at my house and play Internet

at the moment.

9) Great Grandmother passed away

Our Great Grandmother passed away at the age of 100.
Although registration shows that her age is 90 but
the reality is that she is centenarian.
They say that the registration system is rather weak
  at that time.
She was conscious until she passed away.
She had not begun to show signs of senility at all.
I often speak with her until she passes away,
  of course, in Thai language.
She told me that she was very scared when she saw many
Japanese soldiers at the time of war.
May my loving Great Grandmother rest in peace in the heaven.

This is special fridge to keep coffin of the dead.
It will start to decompose quickly in hot weather of Thailand.

They send the coffin to the temple of our village.
Young girls wearing white dress are our relatives
to do "tambun" for only this day.
Boys who are relavives of the dead have their head shaved to
  enter the priesthood.

  note:
Thai word "tambun" means kind of donation to be
very happy in the future including after the death.

Coffin of Great Grandmother and her photograph:
Mattress presented by me also had gone to the heaven.
Her body was cremated here by using woods
from the mountain of our village.

I also would like to be cremated here when I die.
I do not like to be cremated in the Japanese narrow
  incinerator.

I could fly to touch the sky from here with joy
  and happiness.

Scenery of cremation

One comes to be born while the other comes back to the Earth.

My father who passed away about 10 years ago used to tell us:
"Once man comes out to live in this world,
he also has to die once,
no need to be sad at all."
